on February 22, 2022, artists artem utrov and valentin peregudin tied themselves up with each other, bandaged their eyes with ribbons and went to photograph the central street of st. petersburg.

can't say what it was overmeaningful act. i was driven by curiosity — what if? when needed just do it, and then think. was the word is Chimera, my eternal SOMETHING beyond the inaccessible horizon, the promised land and holy grail, was a visual image, born by a word, there was a keen desire — no, a need — go beyond your own perception. lose control of photography — and above oneself.


we were connected with valya peregudin not only hand and foot, we tied up their flair on each other, intertwined spinal cord. we turned like this here is a hybrid creature with a single body, albeit a clumsy body, uncomfortable, constricting. blind. deeper under the skull of this chimera are two right hemispheres instead of the classic set, the absolute of the unconscious and the new form life, doomed to slow death from coldness and absurdity.
